Product Description
The fear that was originally brought to players in Resident Evil Revelations on the Nintendo 3DS system returns redefined for home consoles complete with high quality HD visuals, enhanced lighting effects and an immersive sound experience. Furthermore, the home console version will deliver additional content including a terrifying new enemy, extra difficulty mode and improvements to Raid Mode such as new weapons, skill sets and the opportunity to play as Hunk and other characters from the series. Raid Mode, which was first introduced to the series in the original version of Resident Evil Revelations, sees gamers play online in co-op mode or alone in single player taking on the hordes of enemies across a variety of missions whilst leveling up characters and earning weapon upgrades. The critically acclaimed survival horror title takes players back to the events that took place between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, revealing the truth about the T-Abyss virus. Resident Evil Revelations features series favorites Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, plus their respective BSAA partners - Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat. The action begins on board a supposedly abandoned cruise ship, the 'Queen Zenobia', where horrors lurk around every corner before players head for the mainland and the devastated city of Terragrigia. With limited ammo and weapons available, the race is on to survive the horror of Resident Evil Revelations.

The good things
- Capcom updated the atmosphere giving it an HD look to it. When your on the ship, the camera sways giving it the feel that your actually on the ship.
- The music is fantastic.
- Tight corridors are back! I had numerous experiences where i ran out of ammo and i walk backwards to a corner.
- Jill's campaign is survival horror while Chris's is more action horror.
- You can now evade (similar to RE3).
- Hold up to three weapons and store weapons you picked up in an item box (Oh yeah. They make a return).
- Upgrading weapons in campaign and raid mode is actually pretty neat.
- Raid mode is addicting (yes. Raid mode is also 2-player online. Not local).
- Controls are easy to get use to.
- Can aim and shoot. Even reload while moving.
The bad things
- Keith and Quint are by far the most annoying characters i've ever played.
- Annoying that your partner is with you somewhat of the game.
For this one, i'll let you decide whether this is a pro or a con
- In the old games, backtracking was quite common. In Revelations, it makes a return. There will be times where you have/choose to backtrack. Whether it's to advance the story or open the door that you have been waiting to open. Honestly, this is more of a pro in my opinion but others find this a con.
Overall, this game is extremely fun. I beat the campaign last night and i was pleased on how well capcom ported this game. With Infernal mode and raid mode in the game, i can see myself playing this game fairly long time. You won't be disappointed!
I've been playing the Resident Evil games since the very first installment was released, and thoroughly enjoyed most of the original entries. When 5 came out, I still enjoyed it, but found the original formula that made Resident Evil great in the first place to be somewhat absent. This was further the case with Resident Evil 6. I'm pleased to say that Revelations abandons many of the elements present in the other newer entries (co-op play, brightly lit environments, action oriented gameplay) in the name of delivering a more intense, suspenseful, and sometimes scary gaming experience, very much in the vein of the original series entries. Be warned, though - if you've grown up with nothing but the more recent entries (4 - 6), be prepared for a very challenging experience!
THE GOOD:
- Jill Valentine returns as a primary playable character in this entry, along with Chris and a variety of new characters.
- Great environments, primarily set on an abandoned cruise ship, with an excellent creepy soundtrack
- Single player story mode, although there is a multiplayer "raid mode" available as well
- Cool new enemies, no more mobs of "guys with weapons" chasing you down
- Controls easy to grasp, similar to control scheme in other recent installments
- Very limited ammo and health, similar to the original Resident Evil
THE BAD:
- No laser sight option, aiming is accomplished via a crosshair (may not bother other players)
- Some rather annoying supporting characters, possibly the worst in the series
- Boss battles (even the first one) can be extremely difficult, far worse than RE4 thru RE6
- Occasional lag, although this mainly occurs in elevators when a new map is loading
- Story may not make any sense to players new to the series
THE UGLY:
- Oozes! Globsters! And the Scagdead...
Overall, the good of this installment far outweighs any bad elements, and it's a definite "must play" for anyone who is a fan of the series. Again, the last few games in the series may not prepare newer players for the challenge of Revelations, but it's a great game, one of the best I've played in the series or on the 360 overall.

El modo de escaneo de muestras aporta mucha tensión pero también resulta muy distrayente y una pérdida de tiempo. Por lo demás la ambientación y la historia te mantienen en suspenso.
