Si esto fuese un ‘RockBand’ o un ‘Guitar Hero’ de los de siempre imagino que estaría babeando, que ya sabéis lo mucho que me va a mi el rock. Pero no, estamos hablando de la lista de canciones de ‘DJ Hero 2’, la última entrega de la apuesta de Activision por conquistar a los amantes de las pistas de baile y los videojuegos.

Y digo que estaría babeando ya que entiendo que la lista es jugosa, jugosísima, además de extensa hasta el infinito. Temas de actualidad, artistas como Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Busta Rgymes, 2pac e incluso los Jackson 5 lo darán todo viéndose mezclados por grandes DJ’s internacionales como Tiësto, RZA, Qbert, Shadow o el mítico Jazzy Jeff. Desde luego parece un tracklist inmenso y que hará las delicias de los amantes de la tabla de mezclas. Y es que, ¿quién no ha soñado alguna vez ser un exitoso DJ en un garito de California? Quizá podamos ser algo parecido en Matalascañas con ‘DJ Hero 2’ Anda que no.

Por cierto, resulta que el maquinero que tenemos en el equipo ya os había contado algo de este ‘DJ Hero 2’ y es que la sola presencia de DJ Tiësto ya fue noticia hace un tiempo, justo cuando supimos que podría ser nuestro en Octubre. Y para todas las plataformas de sobremesa, PS3, Xbox 360 y Wii.

Os voy a confesar un par de cosas: no he jugado al ‘Dj Hero’ original y tampoco he escuchado mucha cosa que digamos de DJ Tiësto, pero seguramente esta noticia será del agrado de unos cuantos de vosotros. O al menos eso espero. Porque ‘Dj Hero 2’ supone para DJ Tiësto el debut en este tan bonito mundo de los videojuegos.

Vaya, acabo de decir en público que no conozco demasiado el trabajo de DJ Tiësto, a pesar de que ha colaborado con bandas como Muse o Sigur Rós, de que estuvo en la ceremonia de apertura de los Juegos Olímpicos de Atenas, de que ha estado en festivales como Coachella o Bonnaroo o de que es el DJ más famoso del mundo. Tendré que ponerle remedio al asunto, ¿no creéis?

Fuera bromas, lo cierto es que ‘Dj Hero 2’ no tiene mala pinta a juzgar por los artistas que aparecerán en él. Porque DJ Tiësto se suma a David Guetta, Deadmau5 y DJ Qbert, entre otros. A parte, y según dice la nota de prensa que nos ha hecho llegar Activision, aquellos que posean el primer juego podrán comprar una segunda mesa de mezclas para disfrutar del modo batalla. Porque sí, amigos, ‘DJ Hero 2’ incluye un pack especial Party Play que incluye una copia del juego, dos mesas de mezclas y un micrófono. A partir de el próximo mes de octubre para PS3, XBox 360 y Wii.
